StageZap › Virtual staging

Put furniture into an empty room photo with AI

An empty room makes it hard to judge scale: is there space for a sofa and a dining table? StageZap places realistic, correctly sized furniture into your photo, following the floor perspective and casting natural shadows. Use it to sell a home, pitch a renovation, or decide whether that sectional will actually fit.

Real StageZap output. Walls, windows, floor and light are unchanged — only furniture and decor were added.

Why it works

Realistic scale

Furniture follows the floor plane and perspective, so you can judge how the room really lives.

Natural lighting

Shadows and highlights match the light coming through your windows.

Your wishes, added

Type extras like “a piano in the corner” or “navy accent pillows”.

How it works

  1. Upload

Snap the empty room straight on, at chest height, with the lights on. JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 10 MB.
  2. Pick room & style

Choose the room type and one of 8 designer styles. Add a wish like “a reading chair by the window”.
  3. Download

In about a minute you get a full‑resolution image in the same aspect ratio, ready for your listing.

Frequently asked questions

Will it remove furniture that is already there?

Not yet — StageZap is designed for empty or nearly empty rooms. Clear clutter first, or try the Edit tab’s declutter preset.

Can I keep the same room and try several styles?

Yes. Upload once and generate as many styles as you like; each result is saved to your local history.

Will the AI change my walls, windows or floor?

No. Every staging request carries a strict structure lock: walls, windows, doors, flooring, ceiling, perspective and lighting stay as they are, and the output keeps your photo’s aspect ratio. Always compare before publishing, as with any edit.

Do I need to disclose virtual staging?

In most markets, yes. Label staged photos as “virtually staged” and keep the empty original in the gallery. Check your MLS or portal rules — our guide on disclosure covers the common requirements.
