AI passport photo from a photo you take at home
Photo booths are getting rare and studio prints cost money for something that takes seconds. With StageZap you take a photo against any wall, and the AI replaces the background with an even plain color, centers and sizes your head for the document you choose, and fixes uneven lighting — without changing your face.
What the AI does — and does not do
Does
Plain white, off-white, light blue or grey background; correct crop and head size; even, shadow-free light; optional neutral attire.
Does not
Change your face, slim, beautify or de-age you. Identity is locked, because altered photos are rejected.
Never
Render a passport page, stamp or document. You get only the photo itself.

How to take the source photo
- Stand about 1–1.5 m from a plain wall, facing a window so light falls evenly on your face.
- Have someone else take the photo at eye level (selfies distort the face and are often rejected).
- Upload it to the StageZap studio, choose the ID photo tab, this size and background.
- Check the result against the table above, then print at 300 dpi or upload the digital file.

Before you submit
Read the most common rejection reasons and compare your result with the official rules for your country.
StageZap retouches your own photo (background, framing, lighting). It does not change your face, and we cannot guarantee acceptance by any government or embassy.
